Throughout his career, he has played a leading role in helping modern companies determine how to communicate their values through sustainability programs. 180one congratulates CereVasc on the appointment of Janelle Arrambide as the Director of Clinical Development. CereVasc is a medical device company focused on the development of novel, minimally invasive treatments for patients with neurological diseases. The Company’s first product, the eShunt™ System, has been developed to treat hydrocephalus, a potentially life-threatening disease also known as “water on the brain.” The eShunt System has the potential to disrupt a 60-year-old standard of care that is fraught with high failure and complication rates that typically result in patients requiring multiple revision surgeries over the span of their treatment. Janelle brings very relevant Class III medical device experience to CereVasc in the fields of neurosurgery and drug delivery and has an impressive track record of accomplishing clinical milestones. With a background in environmental policy, economics and regulatory compliance management, Alexis balances policy requirements, practical realities, sustainability trends and external expectations to guide the sustainability strategy. From Policy Analyst to Sustainability Engagement Manager, Alexis has held many exciting roles with organizations such as The Environmental Defense Fund, Northrup Grumman and, most recently, Amazon Web Services. 180one was proud to partner with Fortive on this critical new hire and we wish Alexis all the best with her new role!

Josh has over 25 years of experience in high tech building deep client relationships and driving growth through high impact channel programs. With a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Columbia University, Josh has a passion for leveraging technology innovations to deliver breakthrough business outcomes. FLIR is a world leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of advanced thermal imaging and other sensor systems that enhance perception and awareness. McDowd brings 15 years of communications and public relations experience to the newly created role, including 9 years with Microsoft , where he successfully engineered the end-to-end PR launch efforts of the Windows Phone HTC 8X and 8S as well as promoted the company’s environmental efforts through consistent PR activity as a senior member of the Environmental Sustainability Team. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, McDowd oversees the internal and external public relations strategies for FLIR’s six distinct business lines, which include products for the consumer , professional/industrial and law enforcement/ military markets.
