We are excited to announce our recent collaboration with Firestone Pacific Foods, resulting in the placement of their new Chief Financial Officer! Firestone Pacific Foods (FPF) is a top-tier, efficient processor of frozen fruit that has earned a strong reputation in the market for quality and food safety. FPF has sales relationships with leading US and international food retailers and US food service companies. Agriculture Capital Fund II, an impact investment fund, acquired FPF in the fall of 2019 as part of its strategy to build out a low cost, vertically integrated supply chain of high quality, organic blueberries operating at scale to address growing global demand for this nutritious fruit. Together, FPF and Agriculture Capital seek to provide customers with product traceability back to the farm and a vehicle for creating and capturing value from Agriculture Capital’s regenerative agronomic practices. We are delighted to announce the successful placement of Todd Thompson as the Chief Financial Officer for Portland Bottling! Founded over 90 years ago by Andrew D. Hrestu in 1924, Portland Bottling Company (PBC) has been situated in its current landmark building since 1941. In 2020, PBC expanded its operations to a 350,000 sq foot facility in Clackamas, OR, effectively more than doubling its capacity from the original flagship location. Initially distributing brands like 7UP and RC Cola as a franchisee, PBC has evolved to exclusively function as a regional contract packer and co-packer. The company specializes in producing a diverse array of ready-to-drink (RTD) specialty beverages in aluminum cans, solidifying its position as a leading West Coast co-packer. PBC's product range includes energy drinks, fruit-flavored sparkling waters, teas, and various other specialty non-alcoholic beverages, available in pasteurized and non-pasteurized options and a variety of carton and case configurations. About the Company Founded in 1963 and headquartered in Albany, Oregon, OFD Foods, LLC (“OFD”) is the largest and most technologically advanced freeze dryer in the country, freeze-drying a wide variety of foods and other products for numerous end markets, in its facilities in Oregon and New York. As the VP of Manufacturing, you play an important role in how we create the unbelievable and show up generously across all company touchpoints with our team, our partners and our community. About the Position Based on growth plans of Salt & Straw and the need to continue to meet increasing demand for ice cream, the VP of Manufacturing will ensure we hit our production targets efficiently and safely at both current and future manufacturing locations (expecting to open new production facilities in coming years). Responsible for strategic and tactical direction of our production teams, help Salt & Straw make the transition from manufacturing in a kitchen-based environment to a production-based environment, better positioned to support our strong growth trajectory, while protecting what we are known for: quality, small batch ice cream. You will ensure we produce only high-quality ice cream, prevent unplanned outages of ice cream across our business units, and uphold our standards of excellence and hospitality. This is a key leader within Salt & Straw who is critical to creating a culture of operational excellence within our manufacturing facilities. The VP of Manufacturing is an impressive problem solver, highly skilled in creating the best processes to achieve our goals, ensuring production at all facilities is completed in-full and on-time, safely, and meeting the quality expectations, while following company GMPs and policies. They are passionate about training and developing our team members, and while this is a leadership role, the VP of Manufacturing should be prepared to spend time within our kitchen facilities. They build and sustain the most supportive and collaborative culture that the team enjoys and flourishes in.

180one congratulates Oregon Fruit Products on the recent appointment of Tom Christensen as their Chief Financial Officer. Oregon Fruit Products is a fast growing, family-owned business that offers a complete line of canned, frozen, and aseptically packaged fruit for consumers, foodservice operators, brewers, and ingredient customers. Their high-quality, focus on the customer, as well as their product development capabilities are what attracts customers. Tom is a results-oriented and highly accomplished finance and accounting leader with 15+ years of progressive leadership experience. He leads strategic initiatives, drives profitability, develops staff, communicates skillfully, and evaluates and takes appropriate risks. He also has significant experience leading financial due diligence for M&A activity. With a Big 4 background, Tom has spent the last 8 years with Oregon Potato Company, where he started as an Accounting Manager and left as the Director of Finance & Accounting. Tom will make an excellent addition to the leadership team. 180one enjoyed partnering with Oregon Fruit Products on this critical search, and we are excited for Tom and his new role!

Its customers include; Kroger, Safeway, Costco, Walmart, Sam’s Club, UNFI, Topco, Boyd Coffee, ConAgra Foods and others.
